Gina Stewart

Since joining the company in 2008, Gina has headed up Merritt’s business development efforts, expanding the company’s presence in the Baltimore-Washington region. With a background in architecture and more than 20 years in the construction industry, Gina’s knowledge and experience allow her to facilitate the bidding process and provide valuable feedback to customers as they work through the design and construction phases of their project.

Active in the industry, Gina has held numerous leadership positions, including Membership & Sponsorship Chair on the Board of Directors for the BWI Business Partnership, Executive Committee member for Women in Retail Real Estate (WIRRE), Mid-Atlantic Idea Exchange Committee member for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Awards Gala Co-Chair and committee member for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and was an active member of International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Additionally, she is a member and past President of the Anne Arundel Commercial and Industrial Association (AACIA), as well as a member and past Board member of the Chesapeake Area Society of Healthcare Engineering (CASHE), member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Baltimore, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Baltimore, the US Green Building Council (USGBC) MD and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ft. Meade Alliance.
